UCLA Law School Gets $10 Million Donation

LOS ANGELES — The UCLA School of Law has received a million gift to establish a business law institute.

The Los Angeles school announced Tuesday that alumnus Lowell Milken had made the donation to create the Lowell Milken Institute for Business and Law. It’s the largest single donation to the law school in its history.

Milken is a wealthy businessman, philanthropist and education reformer. He is chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation.
